History of the weaving braid or hand embroidery on braid was the irreplaceable part of decoration of women dresses and men jackets from ancient period of time.
Historical records give the evidence of the existence of embroidery as early as in the Middle Ages. This kind of needlework was wide-spread in many parts of the world, and Uzbekistan was not an exception. However, its special embroidery techniques and national patterns make the embroidered products a unique and original souvenir for foreigners.

With changing in style and developing of fashion it became less and less used. What caused the almost disappearance of this type of craft in the 20th century. Only, much more recently it was restored by our team. All the delicate work on purses is done with love and pitapat according to ancient original patterns by professional craftswomen.
